What is most fascinating about Hampus’ pictures, as seen from a guest’s point of view, is that he manages to convey the whole atmosphere – captured in a single moment. The black density in the pictures, the light in the details and the shallow depth of field make the pictures seem timeless, and his eye for picture composition convinces us that we will see Hampus’ images in many different contexts to come.Getting to create a book with all these pictures and the bartenders’ lovely stories and funny comments have been a true pleasure. To jumble together this crowdfunding project has certainly been a bit tricky, but at the same time it has given us great experience and an incredible feeling now that we’ve succeeded.
